Law

Justice is blind.  At least that’s what people say.  The law used to just be the law.  If someone broke the law and they got caught they went to jail that was it.  Then came the right to an attorney.  And people everywhere decided that they could higher the best attorney who would turn the law upside down and find every loop whole in order to have their client acquitted.  This gave birth to legal specializations.  The same way we need doctors for specific parts of our bodies and for different illnesses, we need different lawyers who specialize in different areas of the law.  It is close to impossible to know every law and every case for all the different types of law.  So lawyers divide into areas of law.  These areas include Real Estate law, Malpractice law, Auto law, Bankruptcy law, Criminal law, Divorce law etc. etc. etc. the list goes on and on.  For every lawyer there is trying to find loop wholes and areas of the law to bend, there is also a lawyer trying to close those loop wholes and reinforce the law so it is as solid as iron.  The most popular for of law is lawsuit law.  Because of the growing popularity of lawsuits in the United States, there have been more lawyers studying these fields more than any other.  Americans are quick to sue someone else over anything.  While many suits are justified there are a number of false, or over exaggerated lawsuits that are brought before a court strictly for greed.  Lawsuits are the number one type of case brought before a judge.  With everyone wanting to sue everyone else, everyone needs a lawyer or at least legal advice.

Most people at some point in their life will need a lawyer.  Whether it is to buy a house, drink driving, bankruptcy, divorce, or even just to collect social security in their old age.  But most people do not have the money to pay for a lawyer and especially do not have the money to pay a lawyer just for advice.  People can find themselves in many situations where they might need the advice of a lawyer due to an accident or property damage.  Many people in the United States don’t even have a lawyer to call even though we all need one.  Luckily to the average person there is hope.  A growing number of attorneys are offering their services for legal advice for a minimal charge if not free.  The pay off is that if someone does need legal assistance then they will probably choose to have the attorney who helped them represent them.  Lawyers will always have the ability to work as long as accidents happen, people buy houses and people are money hungry and willing to sue.  Why pay for a lawyer if having one isn’t even necessary.  Free legal advice is available.  Legal issues appear on a day to day basis.  A free consultation on a situation not needing legal representation is better than an expensive bit of advice.
